One of two foxes we saw in our backyard during the Summer of 2008.
One of the ladies roaming the field, day after day.

This was our cat Fuzzy. He loved being outdoors. Sadly, our little Fuzzy and Jenna's cat Jake got taken by the coyotes a few years ago.
Look at this face! I found a bunch of Thoroughbred foals and their moms, just north of Tivoli one day. They were grazing and frolicking with no cares in the world!

This is Daisy. We loved watching these little guys every night a few years ago. We don't feed the wild animals anymore. It's really not a good idea and we don't want to attract the bear in the area.

Here's Chip.............of course!

Jennifer's cat, Candy Cane.

Such a magnificent bird...........and right in our own backyard!
Winter 2010

Thumper.............who else?
I was able to grab the camera just in time to get the "tail end" of the deer darting out right in front of the car.
You have to look a bit closely to see who is hiding in there.

I was so fortunate that this beauty didn't move and allowed me to capture this moment. Just glorious!

Firecracker survived the fire we had in the barn. He was found under the flooring of the charred remains. He eventually sent us "Cracker, Jr." and "Piglet" who all stayed here for years!

Praying mantis on our air conditioner!

Our neighbor's guinnea hens. They do a great job with tick control!

A Walking Stick, on our garage door.

A dragonfly under the porch umbrella.
This beautiful pheasant surprised us a few times this year. He runs so fast, it's hard to take a good picture of him. 2009
