LImages

I graduated from Dutchess County BOCES nursing school in June of 1980.  Next year will be my 30th anniversary.  Being an LPN changed my life.  I never made it to be an RN but it allowed me to make a living, be self-sufficient,  have a way out of a horrible marriage, be a single Mom and know some tremendous moments.

This Ben Franklin is made out of stamps!  Postal Museum in DC.

Prometheus all lit up at Rockefeller Center.

Julie and I grew up watching this tree every Fall when we would go see the foliage in Vermont.  It remains a tradition to this day!  Sometimes, it's just ablaze in color!     We always call it,  "our tree."

I think Julie looks so funny here!  We went to the Lafayette Theater in Suffern, N.Y.  to see the original  Hunchback of Notre Dame.  What a beautiful theater it is!

January 28, 2010  It took many, many pictures, experminenting with my camera to finally get this shot.  Taken on our back porch.

Lobbying in Albany for the Alzheimer's Association.   January 2013

Am I the only one who sees a flying saucer here?  I saw this coming home from Newark Airport   5/09

This memorial is near where my parents are buried in West Milford, NJ.

Father Mychal Judge worked for the New York City Fire Department and ran into the World Trade Center towers to help his men.  They carried him out, which was a moment captured by a photographer at the scene.

Father Mychal served the parish where my parents went to church, which is where this cemetery is.  This piece of metal came from one of the towers.

"The" Titanic staircase.  (I snuck this shot!)   We saw this exhibit in NYC.

Why do I love this picture?  Look at the absolute delight and excitement in that girl's face as she stands before the Venus de Milo at the Louvre.

I may not be working anymore, but I like to keep my finger in the pie.  Volunteering for the Medical Reserve Corps in Dutchess County is one way of doing that.  This was a flu vaccine clinic.  2009

Enjoying my job at the campground.  2010

I have found my little niche, trying to education people about Alzheimer's Disease.  I dedicate what I do, to my dear Mother.
